SUMMARY:We’re Hosting the Annual International Coastal Cleanup Today!
DESCRIPTION:Join us on Saturday\, September 20th at the annual International Coastal Clean Up sponsored by the Ocean Conservancy! This event draws hundreds of thousands of volunteers across the globe in cleaning up their local waterways. We’ll be counting every piece of trash we remove from the beach and  providing the results to the Ocean Conservancy for inclusion in their annual Marine Debris Report. \nWe’ll be set up on the Tybee Pier & Pavilion where you’ll get your gear and instructions. Afterwards\, visit with local coastal conservation groups such as the Tybee Marine Science Center to learn more about their mission and how to get involved! All equipment provided. If you’d like to help by counting litter\, send a note to tybeecleanbeach@gmail.com\, and we’ll provide the training and materials!
