SUMMARY:The International Coastal Clean Up is Today!
DESCRIPTION:Every year on the third Saturday in September\, hundreds of thousands of volunteers around the globe join in the International Coastal Clean Up\, sponsored by the Ocean Conservancy. This year’s event will be held up on the Tybee Pier and Pavilion. All collected beach litter will be sorted and counted\, with the details submitted for inclusion in the Ocean Conservancy’s annual report\, which is used to shape policy around the world. Several coastal conservation groups will host information stations\, and participants will receive a t-shirt while supplies last\, all free of charge as a thank you for your help. Don’t miss a fun and productive day at the beach. Bring family and friends!
