This event draws hundreds of thousands of volunteers across the globe in cleaning up their local waterways. We’ll be counting every piece of trash we remove from the beach and  providing the results to the Ocean Conservancy for inclusion in their annual Marine Debris Report. \nWe’ll be set up on the Tybee Pier & Pavilion where you’ll get your gear and instructions. Afterwards\, visit with local coastal conservation groups such as the Tybee Marine Science Center to learn more about their mission and how to get involved! All equipment provided. DESCRIPTION:With the end of spring break\, it’s time to make sure the entire southern end of the island hasn’t suffered from all that partying. We’ll meet up at 6:30 PM at the Inlet beach entrance (use 1705 Inlet Ave on GPS). Stick around afterwards and watch the sunset over Little Tybee. All equipment provided.

Join in the fun at North Beach starting at 10AM\, where you can enjoy a beach clean up\, Yoga on the beach\, surfing lessons\, a tour of the Marine Science Center\, learn about shorebirds on Tybee\, and maybe grab a bite at North Beach Bar & Grill\, a Turtle-Friendly Restaurant. Now that’s a fun day!
