We’ll be joined by representatives from Surfrider GA\, Monomet GA Bight Shorebird Conservation\, the Tybee Island Marine Science Center\, Oceana\, and Savannah Refillery . We’ll also have trained volunteers counting every piece of litter we remove for inclusion in the Ocean Conservancy’s annual Marine Debris Report. Bring friends and family and help keep the ocean clean while learning more about GA coastal conservation!

Bring your family\, bring your friends\, bring your significant other\, or bring yourself and do something good for Mother Earth! Afterwards\, stick around and join in Hands Across the Sand at 11 AM\, sponsored by Surfrider GA\, Oceana\, and Fight Dirty Tybee. We’ll hear from the Tybee Mayor\, a Tybee business owner\, and Oceania’s GA Field Rep on why we need to fight hard to protect the ocean\, and form a symbolic chain of protection along the beach. Event to be filmed via drone by Riverrat Productions.
